I’m Agata, a photographer and mother to Benji and Iris, and the face behind Agata Lee Photography. My family work is inspired by connection, movement, and the beautiful chaos of everyday life together.
After becoming a mother myself, I was drawn to the way light, colour and motion can capture emotion and personality. I know how quickly children change and how easy it is to forget the small details. The way they tuck into your arms, the way they run ahead, the way they need you one minute and independence the next.
My sessions take place in carefully chosen outdoor locations across Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula, and in your own home when it suits your family best. Each space is selected for its warmth and openness, allowing children to explore and families to settle into real connection.
My approach is relaxed and gently guided. We do not worry about perfect behaviour here! Children are welcome to move, cuddle into you, or take a moment to themselves. Nothing is forced. I create space for laughter, closeness, and honest moments, so your images feel natural, vibrant, and true to who you are.
This work is something I truly love. Every session is created with care, patience, and intention, so your portraits feel joyful, meaningful, and full of life long after this season has passed.
